Dr Khaleel is great! My procedure went well with no complications.

Dr Khaleel preformed a multilevel cervical ACDF. I was immediately relieved of pain post op. The neckbrace you wear for the weeks after this surgery was annoying but never did I have nerve pain. He is very skilled. He really takes time to analyze MRI reports and films. You will be educated through the process. I highly recommend using him abd trust his skill and clinical judgment.

Dr. Khaleel is extremely good at his trade but also very warm and caring. He goes into great detail when diagnosing you and when explaining the upcoming procedure! I truly feel as if a good friend is caring for me, he is definitely a 5 STAR Doctor!

I came to Dr. Khaleel because I was told he was the very best spine/back surgeon that anyone could be fortunate to have. I was one of those who was fortunate. The authentic conversations with me and my family prior, before surgery, after surgery demonstrated his true caring and concern for me. I felt truly seen and cared about. It's clear he loves what he does and cares about his patients.

Do a web search of Dr. Khaleel and read his educational and professional background. He is proficient and an excellent communicator. He explains your situation and what, if any procedure he proposes. When you have questions, he is attentive. You don’t feel like he is waiting for you to finish talking so he can recite the canned response. He addresses exactly what you have asked him. In my experience, it is unusual to have a specialist’s undivided attention. If you have consulted with another surgeon but are having doubts, I strongly recommend taking the time to consult with Dr. Khaleel.

Dr Khaleel is compassionate and an excellent listener. He provides easy to understand explanations and confirms you understood and has included my husband with each step. I am 8 weeks post-op back surgery. The 22 months of hell is behind me and I’m on the road to recovery. Highly recommend him!

I absolutely love Dr. Khaleel! He did my neck surgery and back surgery. I had some complications with the back surgery and he met me at the hospital on New Year's day and did surgery again. Not a lot of doctors would come in on New Year's day!! He is so knowledgeable and extremely thorough. He will explain everything to you and allow you to be in one the decision making. I have been seeing him for around 3 years and I will continue to see him..he is AWESOME!!!!

Dr. Khaleel is amazing!!! He is very thorough in explaining what he sees in the MRI. He also allowed me to have a say in which route I felt comfortable with in fixing the problem and my pain. Both he and his staff have been very accommodating and super helpful and nice! I have been to two of his offices and the staff at both are outstanding!!

I'm using my wifes acct. to post my review. I had my knee replaced by Dr. Estrera 8 weeks ago. I followed their rehab schedule and have healed very well. I'm back on the tennis court and taking it slowly. I've recommended him to a friend and he had his knee replaced and is healing nicely as well. I researched and visited other orthos as well. He had the qualifications I was looking for. Very knowledgeable and personable. You'll be happy with the results.

While I'm only in my mid-50's, I've unfortunately had a 5 different orthopedic surgeries over the last 10 years (both ankles, herniated disk, rotator cuff) so I feel as if I have a broad perspective on surgeons and surgeries. Dr. Estrera is hands down the best surgeon I've ever had. His minimally invasive knee surgery technique was exactly as promised, but more than that is his pre and post-operation care. He provides all his patients his cell phone, and is diligent in following up on any issues you might have. Prior to the surgery he spent a significant amount of time discussing the need for the surgery, then post-surgery has helped me set goals as I progress through physical therapy. He's got an easy conversational style and I am truly thankful he's the surgeon I trusted for this knee replacement. If there was 6 stars I would give him that rating!

WOW!!! First of all, Dr. Estrera is an amazing doctor. Awesome, thorough training and education. Second, he's an amazing surgeon. He performed my 4th (revision) knee surgery and I feel amazing so far. His confidence and skill have me convinced I'm going to be in good shape for a while and if there is a problem, no question I'll be returning to him. Lastly, he is the most personable doctor/surgeon I've ever met. He calls personally to make sure you are fully informed prior to surgery and post surgery calls regularly to make sure everything is okay. He and his surgical staff interact on a personal level and even sent a get well card signed by each of them! THANK YOU!!

Dr. Estrera is an amazing surgeon!!! I had a full knee replacement in Sept, 2018 at age 70, felt great in December and was able to start traveling, walking through airports and going back to work in January. He is an expert at what he does and his followup surpasses anything I have ever experienced with any doctor. He and his team really care about each patient. His physical therapy facility is right there next to his office, so he can just walk over and check on you during your sessions. I am not an easy patient, so I must say he has the patience of a saint! If you make an appointment for a consultation with him, you will immediately notice how knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and down to earth he is. I can never thank him enough for how active I am able to be now!

yed to awaken from the surgery feeling no worse than I did with the initial knee replacement done only 2 & 1/2 years prior. Dr Estrera is an awesome surgeon, and so talented and knowledgeable, that his patients do amazingly well. My surgery is now 3 weeks behind me, and my physical therapist have all been astonished at the rate I am recovering. Above all his medical/surgical prowess, Dr Estrera is a humble and compassionate doctor who truly listens to his patient’s needs and concerns and acts to accomplish their goals together. I was in the healthcare industry 39 years before retiring, and can count the physicians on one hand that demonstrated the level of Dr Estrera’s expertise, and empathetic compassion for his patients. He is a jewel in the crown of the exemplary medical staff available to the greater Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex! My home is 55 miles away from his office in Frisco, and even this was NOT a deterrent to choosing him for my knee surgery! He is worth the traffic and the drive across Dallas !!!! Please consider him if you find yourself needing orthopedic surgery. He is the BEST.

Dr. Estrera is hands down the best Orthopedist I have ever been to. He is extremely down to earth and very knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He tells you what’s going on with your issue then listens to what you have to say. I had major knee pain for 5 months straight. The day I walked into his office I was a 9 out of 10 on the pain scale. When I walked out, I had no pain what so ever! He’s my ortho for life!

I am a 67 year old woman. From realizing I had no cartilege to walking normally, 7 weeks! The food and service of the hospital were amazing! No complications, except he forgot it was 6 weeks after and told me I needed a cane! When I demonstrated walking and turning, he agreed, I was ok without!

Doctor Ken Estrera was simply the best . I have had 3 prior knee surgeries this by far was the hardiest to do , I feel great I was riding a stationary bike at 4 weeks , now 6 weeks totally off all meds. I highly recommend Dr Estrera.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Dr. Estrera and his team out of their way to make sure to deliver the best care. I would not trust anyone else with my father's care. Communication is priority and our entire family were involved with the process which I believe contributed to his excellent outcome with his knee replacement surgery.

I just want to say that I had an amazing experience while I was recovering from my knee surgery! I wasn't excited about starting my physical therapy just days after surgery, but this Team was awesome! I did my therapy with Brandon and Josh most of the time. Anytime I had to change my appt. they were very accommodating! These guys really know their stuff, and they love their job! I also love the girls at the front desk, they are so nice and friendly, and they kept my husband and grandbaby busy while I did my PT! I want to say that Dr. Estrera did an awesome job, and my scar is beautiful! I wish he could've done my 3 c-sections! I meant to write this review back in December for my last PT appt. but have been busy with the grandbabies! I have already recommended Dr. Estrera to my co-workers! Dr Kenneth Estera is top notch surgeon but he is also an incredibly attentive, caring, compassionate and dedicated physician. Thorough, prompt response, a strong support medical team and onsite PT. Cannot say enough about him and his team!

I’ve been to told for over 9 years from multiple doctors that I need to address my L5-S1 injury. When the ER referred me to Dr Khaleel for my L1 fracture, Dr K did not rush to surgery for the fracture. He recommended a brace. But also told me to address the L5-S1 injury that was exacerbated with the new fracture. Not jumping to surgery and being highly credentialed, when he brought up the other injury, it sold me that he’s not looking to operate unless necessary. He focused on the real issue. His staff is great. Surgery is scheduled and given my interactions, I’m confident things will go well
