Dr. Kenneth Estrera is one of the best orthopedic doctors and joint replacement specialist surgeons in the country. We are fortunate to have him available to us in the DFW Metroplex and North Texas area. I have now had two total knee replacements done by him and could not be happier with the outcome.

Dr. Estrera took the time to walk me through exactly how my hip would be replaced and answered my questions. He checked on me often and provided an easy method to contact him 24/7 if I had an issue. He did a great job. I highly recommend him!

Dr Kenneth Estrera is a most gracious and most excellent orthopedic surgeon. He replaced my left hip in March 2018 with great care presurgery, in surgery, and post surgery. I highly recommend Dr Estrera.

Dr. Estrera did the total knee replacement on my right knee in October 2017 as a UTSW physician and did such a fantastic job, I wanted to make sure he did the left one as well. So, April 2018; I followed him to his new practice in Frisco and he did another fantastic job. I am glad that he didn't move to New Jersey. :)

Dr. Estrera has completed surgery on both my right & left knees. His expertise has allowed me to be very comfortable doing all the things I was doing before I had the knee replacements. He is very professional and a skilled surgeon.

Had a wonderful experience with Brandon and Nora at Apex PT. They guided me thru the ACL surgery rehab process with great care and professionalism. Not only is he a kind, compassionate, personable and extremely skilled surgeon, he surrounds himself with a staff that mirrors his values in every way. From his NP, to his medical assistant to his physical therapists and the scheduling staff, every person is without fail responsive, helpful, and competent. I’d like to personally thank my lead therapists, Josh and Brandon, for their encouragement, positivity and skill as they guided me through my PT program after my total hip replacement surgery earlier this year. They made doing the work to get better a joy. I looked forward to each session, improving each week under their guidance! Dr. Estrera is a highly skilled surgeon, and I am forever grateful for the recommendation I received from a close friend to become a patient of his, first for a torn meniscus 5 years ago, and on up to major joint replacement surgery this year!

I had a hip replaced by Dr Estera. He explained in detail what he would be doing and was always available as needed after the surgery. The surgery went well with minimal pain. His office has a physical therapy group that I would highly recommend. They are always friendly, upbeat and very professional.

Frisco Apex have a great group of physical Therapist. I appreciate their knowledge and skills but more for how personal their relationship with the patient is. They make any effort to understand your struggles and push you to improve every day.

I cannot say enough about physical therapy with Josh and Brandon! They are both very professional, friendly, thorough, and they genuinely care about your recovery. And they actually listen to you. Living in Anna, after my knee replacement I began physical therapy in Melissa. I did not feel that I was being challenged enough, so I thought I'd give Dr. Estrera's (who performed my surgery) physical therapy staff a try. Best decision ever! They really challenged me and I am very happy with where I'm at after my discharge. They made driving from Anna to Frisco at 6:30 in the morning more than well worth it! I will not use anyone else for future orthopedic physical therapy needs. Thank you Josh and Brandon!

I’m a RN for over 20 years and know expertise and compassion when I see it. Dr Khaleel is a true BLESSING!! He performed a 3 level ACDF in 2020 and I have not had any issues since then. My career has changed and I sit more and which causes me to have lower back pain that radiating down my right leg, x-rays/MRI images showed a L4-L5 herniated disc. With his conservative approach, Dr Khaleel suggested physical therapy and steroid injections which helped. With my line of work the pain returned and Dr Khaleel then offered various options. We decided on a minimally invasive lumbar discectomy Sept 2025. Today is Nov 15th, I’m pain free!! Walking again up to 1-2 miles, physical therapy team is amazing at Apex Orthopedics. Shout out to BRANDONNN!!!! He is extremely knowledgeable and listens to what you need to get you back up and going!! The front office ladies are friendly and keeps the vibe so friendly and vibrant. I was scared but I’m so thankful I did it and I now have my life back!!! Thank you Dr Khaleel and PT Brandon!!!Mrs Woods

Josh and Brandon were instrumental in my recovery from back surgery. They listened attentively and designed appropriately challenging exercises to help strengthen my body. I am very satisfied with the efforts of both of these professionals.

Doctor Khalil was very informative, explained all options and provided recommendations.

Dr Khalil did an excellent job on my neck fusion if it wasn't for him I believe I would have died he saved my life anything I've ever wanted or needed he has always came through and done what he could do for me He never spoke to me in terms that went over my head he always spoke in ways that I can understand.
